Equipment

  • 2 Mixing bowls
  • Knife & cutting board
  • Tongs or spatula
  • Paper towels (for pressing tofu)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 block Extra firm tofu Pressed and cubed
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Air Fryer to 375 F (190)
  • In a bowl mix breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder and onion powder, salt and pepper
  • Dip each tofu cube into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring each is coated evenly
  • Place coated tofu cubes in air fryer basket in single layer
  • Air Fry for 12 to 15 minutes until the tofu is golden and crispy - flipping halfway through

Notes

  • Press the tofu well to remove excess water—this makes it extra crispy.
  • For added flavor, marinate the tofu in soy sauce, garlic, or your favorite seasoning blend before breading.
  • Works great with dipping sauces like BBQ, ranch, or spicy sriracha mayo.
  • Can be made gluten-free by using almond flour or gluten-free breadcrumbs.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer to bring back crispiness.
